Our tiny homeschool did numbers today. It was a blend of musical chairs and Simon Says. These pages were on the ground outside, face down.  When a song started playing, we ran around in a circle outside the pages. Once the music stopped, each child chose the paper that was closest to them, turned it over, and read the number and activity.

1 – run to each wall in the yard and touch them.

2 – spin around.

3 – roll on the ground.

4 – clap hands.

5 – jump up and down.

Once they figured out the number an activity, they did the activity the correct number of times (jumped five times, spun two times).  Each child took turns and then we turned the music on for another round.

It kept us moving and counting for at least fifteen minutes, which is a win for us.
